HOW TO SUCCEED WITH YOUR STUDIES

Students in my class have talked about what they need to do to succeed with their studies. They have decided that the following things are important.

• Part 1
  • Come to every lesson.
  • Be prepared.
  • Be on time.
  • Behave yourself and show respect to others.
  • Work from the start of the lesson.
  • Work during the whole lesson.
  • Do your homework.
  • Do your homework on time.

• Part 2
  • Be responsible for your own work.
  • Work for your own good, not just to impress your teacher.
  • Work hard even when your teacher is not in the classroom.
  • Work towards your own goals.

The points mentioned in part one are basic requirements for all school work. When the you have internalised part two, you are ready to enter further education and meet the new challenges that life holds in store for you.
